The Vexillum Theatre Project - A portable, modular back drop for Street Performers (2012)

The Vexillum Theatre is a backdrop for street theatre occurring in the Sydney CDB. The modular pieces are versatile, link together via a lift-off hinge system and when dissembled, flat pack for easy storage. The forms are conceptually based around a flag flapping in the wind. In addition, a Street Performance Information Pack has been put together to provide users with critical information about busking in the City of Sydney Council. This pack contains: an information sheet, 6 stickers (for branding speakers and suitcases belonging to street performers), 20 business cards, a stencil for chalking markers to distinguish a performance area and 5 pieces of chalk.
